Install panels & cables
Install your roof rack, 5× solar panels, trunking, and solar and earth cables. This is a standard solar task that any accredited solar installer can perform.

Mount & wire the inverter
Mount the inverter next to your water heater and isolate the power. Detach the electric cable from the water heater and connect it to the inverter's AC input, attach the solar cables, then run a new cable from the inverter output back to the heater. Finally, fit the digital temperature probe in the water heater and connect it to the inverter.
